Background

Countryside.. A place where upon looking around, you will find more nature, instead of people. It was Less.. A lot less crowded than even a town. That was the kind of place where she grew up. And for a person living at such a place, family is everything for a person. For her, her family was just her mother. She had no siblings and her father had left before she was born.
Without any worry, away from the rushed life, she lived in her own happy little world. The life of an optimistic, cheerful, farm girl. She had everything that she could ask for. However, it all changed when her mother got sick. Other than just taking away her mother, the cancer took her little world with her. The visits to the hospital, the nights that she had to stay there and to see her mother get weaker and weaker by the day, crying and hating herself for not being able to do anything whenever she had to go back to that empty house. It broke her little by little.. Until one day she just couldn't feel that pain. It was the day her mother passed away. 17 year old Ella, Spent her days alone in that house.. Sitting at the ground, staring at the wall with nothing else to do and the silence.. Eating her away.
She couldn't really remember how long she had been that way. Was it 6 months? Or maybe it had been a whole year? She couldn't really say.. Then one day that spark of wanting to live came back to her and she knew too well that it wouldn't happen until she left this quiet place. The silence that became familiar to her Now felt like it would kill her. She wanted to start a new life.. Because she couldn't live with the fact that her mother would be disappointed to see her this way. That's when she decided to leave the countryside and move to the city. She gave away the barn and the fields around for the bakery and the apartment where she would reside. But not the house, all the memories she had there wouldn't allow her to do so
